About Us

DSCN2469Roman and Sons built their reputation on the old school principal of doing things right the first time, while adapting to ever-changing product developments and installation methods.  By providing our customers with quality products, expert installations, and personalized service, Roman and Sons is a recognized industry leader across the Delaware Valley.

Bernie RomanBernard Roman founded the business in 1951 as a home improvement company located on Allegheny Avenue in Philadelphia.  Over the decades, he began to specialize in replacement window and door projects, earning his clients’ trust with honesty, integrity, and a beautifully completed job. Bernard laid the foundation for a successful business with one guiding principle: NEVER FORGET A CUSTOMER!  This idea has stood the test of time and has allowed our business to enter into its third generation.

Murray RomanBernard’s son Murray joined the firm in 1979, and is currently the company President.  Murray graduated from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science with a business degree.  In the 1980’s Murray was the President of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) for the Delaware Valley and is well respected throughout the industry.  He was instrumental in the expansion of Roman and Sons outside of the city and into the suburbs.  He now has over 35 years of experience in the window and door industry, and if he doesn’t know an answer to a question, he knows the person that does.

Kathy RomanIn 1992 Murray’s wife Kathy joined the firm as office manager and is the keystone of the company.  Her voice is the one you will hear when calling for information, to set an appointment, or to request any kind of service. Her knowledge and expertise are what Roman and Sons clients have come to expect from a true family business.

Dan picMurray’s son Daniel joined the firm in 2010 after graduating from West Chester University with a business degree. While growing up, Daniel was always involved in the business; either helping out with paperwork at a young age, or learning how to install replacement windows and doors during the summers in high school.  He has the benefit of decades of experience and knowledge at his fingertips.
